The Swarm searches its database using one of the following from the HubSpot contact:
LinkedIn URL
Email address
First name + Last name + Company name (together)
Note: The Swarm uses HubSpot’s native LinkedIn URL field hs_linkedin_url, which is included by default in HubSpot.

When a HubSpot contact matches a profile in The Swarm that your team is connected to, you’ll see:
Whether this contact exists in your team’s network
Number of relationships your team has with them
Relationship strength for each connector (Unfamiliar, Potential, Likely, Confirmed) — learn more about how we calculate it →
Relationship source (e.g., LinkedIn connection, work overlap, education overlap, shared investor, Google Contact, Google Calendar)
Full name of the connector(s)
Connector’s email address
Connector’s LinkedIn URL
Direct link to the contact’s profile in The Swarm web app

The Swarm offers Free, Base, Premium, and Enterprise plans, based on features and API credit limits. New users start with a 14-day trial to explore all features. Plans can be managed directly in your The Swarm account at app.theswarm.

Yes. Go to the Integrations page in The Swarm, remove the HubSpot app, and reinstall it. You’ll need to re-configure the UI cards in HubSpot after reinstalling.

What happens if I uninstall the app?
If you uninstall The Swarm app from HubSpot, the extension cards will no longer display relationship data. Your The Swarm account and network remain intact, and you can reinstall the app at any time to reconnect.
Does The Swarm change my HubSpot data?
Does The Swarm change my HubSpot data?
No. The Swarm only reads selected data from your HubSpot Contacts and Companies to match profiles in our database and display relationship insights. We never modify or delete your HubSpot records.
