Owners and Admins get your team's API key from the API page in the sidebar. Contributors and Guests can't see the API page or the key.

In the sidebar under AI Tools, select Set up the API.

Select Generate API key. The page shows what's included, such as your API credits.

You land on the API page with your key shown. Copy it and keep it safe.

Open the <a href="https://app.theswarm.com/api" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">API page</a> from the sidebar and select Reveal API Key.

The API is included in the 14-day trial (1,000 credits) and in all Premium plans. It isn't available on the Free plan. See <a href="https://help.theswarm.com/en/articles/14121950-plans-billing-connector-limits-and-api-credits">Plans, billing, connector limits and API credits</a>.

You can check your credit usage on the API page at any time. See <a href="https://help.theswarm.com/en/articles/14301925-how-api-credits-work">How API credits work</a>.
