Monthly vs. yearly billing

Written by Bee Keeper

The Swarm offers both monthly and yearly billing. You can choose your preferred billing interval when selecting a plan.

How yearly billing works

On a yearly plan, you are billed once for the full year upfront at a discounted rate. Your API credits are also allocated on a yearly basis β€” you receive the equivalent of 12 months of credits at the start of each year.

Example: A team on the yearly Premium 50 plan receives 12,000 API credits (12 Γ— 1,000) at the start of their billing year. Those credits can be used at any pace β€” you could use all 12,000 in the first month if needed. Any usage beyond 12,000 credits within the year is billed as an overage at your plan's per-credit rate.

How monthly billing works

On a monthly plan, you are billed each month and receive your plan's credit allocation fresh at the start of every billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over.
